We have been successfully delivering CCF project since 2015:

* 2015-16 (£145,613): We worked with over 1670 migrants and refugees in Edinburgh to tackle climate change and reduce carbon emission through home energy efficiency visits, a renew, reuse and recycle programme, climate change workshops and community events. We calculated a reduction of over 84 tonnes of CO2e through home energy visits and helped to divert over 25 tonnes of waste from landfill through recycling and renewing.

* 2016-17 (£111,423): We helped over 1680 migrants and refugees in Edinburgh to tackle climate change and reduce carbon emission through home energy visits and surgeries, recycle and renewal programme, climate change workshops and community events. We calculated a reduction of over 86 tonnes of CO2e through home energy visits and helped to divert over 26 tonnes of waste from landfill through recycling and renewing. Moreover, we supported a group of participants to use their creative talents and craft skills to set up a successful upcycling social enterprise as a legacy of this project.

* 2017-18 (£88,245): This project was designed to inspire and support over 200 Syrian refugees in Edinburgh to tackle climate change and reduce carbon emission through home energy visits, surgeries and workshops and a home recycling and reusing programme to reduce landfill and help people get more life out of their clothes, textiles, and household items. We achieved a reduction of over 60 tonnes of CO2e through home energy visits and a diversion of over 7 tonnes of waste from landfill through recycling.

All of the above projects offered a wide range of volunteering opportunities and benefited from tremendous support from our partners and focus groups
