I want to share with you my experience with Business Gateway.
Business gateway is an organisation providing access to free business support services. In my case I just had an idea for my business, but I didn’t know from where I have to start.
So first thing I’ve done was to meet Leon and to ask him for advice. He told me about Business Gateway and he arrange meeting for me with adviser. The meeting was almost for the next day and honestly I was a bit nervous because I’m not really confident with my English, but if your English is really bad they can provide you a translator.
The meeting with adviser was really helpful for me because in my country everything is so different from here….how to register my business, self assessment, tax codes, when I have to pay my taxes…do I need an accountant, how to calculate my taxes …I had so many questions and honestly for me is a miracle that there is someone who is capable to give me all this answers. Actually the organisation provides all kind of support to people starting or growing their business, they offer online support and live webinars and free workshops and events.
