Do you need support with applying for jobs?

Our Employability and Entrepreneurship advisor, is here to help!

There will be an employment guidance and advice service twice weekly on Monday and Friday afternoons during April and May 2019 and will be by appointment only .

Welcoming participants who need employment guidance and advice should email Jon Busby  [email protected]  to make an appointment for help and advice with the following:

  • finding a job to match their skills and abilities,
  • finding voluntary work to gain work experience,
  • writing a job application or writing a CV
  • preparing for a job interview.

Unfortunately, we are not able to give advice on housing benefits or welfare benefits asyou will need to speak to the Citizens Advice Bureau, the Job Centre or the City of Edinburgh Council’s Housing Department on these matters.

Please advise him of your name, email address, phone number and the type of support you would like. Please always remember to bring your CV if you have one. If you don’t have a CV and would like help writing one, please bring with you a full work and education history in English. If possible, please also bring an example or two of a job you would like to apply for.
