- accessing training and education
- and career advice
We have two employability services at The Welcoming; one for people under 30 years old, and one for people over 30 years old.

GROW Employment Guidance Course
A free course for parents to prepare you for working in the UK.
In this course you will learn how to search for jobs, write job applications and cover letters, improve interview skills, learn about work culture in Scotland and UK employment rights.
Subsidies including childcare and transport can be provided.
Please note: This course is for parents only.
This six-week course takes place weekly for 2 hours.
The capacity of the course is 20 people per session.

Inspire Project
For under 30’s we offer an employability programme with our Employability and Entrepreneurial Skills Advisor, Sandra Dargie to help with employment, education, and training through the Inspire Project.
