We collect personal information from you when you register with us as a member, volunteer or friend of The Welcoming. (See our current registration forms for details of the information we collect: member, volunteer, friend.)

We collect this information so that we can provide you with the services that you have registered for. When you register through The Welcoming, you consent for us to hold your information.

We do not share your details with third parties.

Information retention time

We retain information as follows:

  • Participants: 2 years following registration or as long as you wish to stay registered with The Welcoming
  • Volunteers: As long as you are an active volunteer or wish to keep in contact with The Welcoming
  • Friends: As long as you wish to remain a Friend of The Welcoming

Your privacy rights

You have the right to ask us to stop holding your information, provide you with a copy of your information, and correct or remove any of your information that you think is inaccurate.

Request removal of your information

If you no longer wish to be contacted by The Welcoming or for us to hold your information, please contact us and we will remove your data immediately.

You have a right to request a copy of the information we hold about you. Please contact us if you would like to do this.
