Jogging Group

Our jogging group is fun and friendly, a great opportunity to get active outdoors and meet some new people, whether you’re completely new to jogging, or an experienced runner!

We leave from The Welcoming every Monday at 6pm. Trained Jog Leaders lead our sessions, with warm-ups, specially-planned routes and stretching sessions at the end.

If you’re a complete beginner we can help you get started, with just 30 seconds of jogging then 30 seconds of walking, at your first session. You’ll build up gradually and before you know it, you’ll be up and running! If you’re a more experienced runner, you’ll meet new people to keep you company on your run, and have the chance to explore Edinburgh on foot.

We tailor every session to the needs of whoever comes along, from jog/walk intervals for beginners, up to 60 minutes of running.
