We offer health and wellbeing activities for asylum seekers, refugees and migrants in Edinburgh.

Our aim is to support New Scots to feel healthier, happier, and more confident.

We currently have the Wellbeing Space on Thursdays at The Welcoming.


Wellbeing Space

A relaxed space where you can meet new people, drink tea and coffee and have a chat.

Walking Group – Project with Edinburgh University

Join our 4-week Walking Group this February to exercise, make friends and explore Edinburgh.

The group will meet on Tuesday 31st January, Tuesday 7th, 14th and 21st February (10am – 12.30pm) at the Water of Leith

This activity is part of a research project with Edinburgh University. If you take part, then you are required to attend all four walking sessions (unless you are unwell) and fill out questionnaires.

  • Minimum English level: Elementary/Intermediate (A2/B1).
  • You will be given £10 vouchers for each session that you attend (£40 in total).

Cycling Group – Project with Edinburgh University

Join our 4-week Cycling Group this February to exercise, make friends and explore Edinburgh.

The group will meet on Wednesday 1st, 8th and 22nd February, and Wednesday 1st March  (10am – 12.30pm) at the Bridgend Farmhouse (EH16 4TE).

This activity is part of a research project with Edinburgh University. If you take part, then you are required to attend all four cycling sessions (unless you are unwell) and fill out questionnaires.

  • Minimum English level: Elementary/Intermediate (A2/B1).
  • You will be given £10 vouchers for each session that you attend (£40 in total).
