We have two employability services at The Welcoming; one for people under 30 years old, and one for people over 30 years old.

GROW Employment Guidance Course
Getting Ready for Opportunities and Work is a free course for parents to prepare you for working in the UK.
In this course, you will learn how to search for jobs, write job applications and cover letters, improve interview skills, and learn about work culture in Scotland and UK employment rights.
Subsidies, including childcare and transport, can be provided.
Please note: This course is only for parents in Edinburgh.
This six-week course meets weekly for two hours and begins on Tuesday, August 20th (11 am—1 pm).
The course ends on Tuesday September 24th and all classes are IN-PERSON.
